Project SparkL
Let's rekindle the spark!
Project SparkL is a registered Bengaluru-based Non Profit Organization that works towards helping abandoned and runaway children who are rescued and rehabilitated in shelter homes. As the name suggests, Project SparkL aims to “Ignite the Spark for Learning”. This is the brainchild of a group of friends who are passionate about making a difference, in the field of education.
We provide skill-based teaching to help such children at the primary school level (6-13 years) to bridge the huge gap in their learning. This results in building a strong foundation by making them think, learn and apply, instead of the rote method being followed currently. We use a more participative and application-based approach to learning.
We are a passionate team trying to bring about a real change.

Project SparkL classes were really helpful for the children as they started with the basics of each subject. The children started improving in Math because of the skill based and interactive approach. We really appreciate the dedication and commitment towards the children shown by Ms.Shruthi and Ms. Sanjana in teaching them from the very beginning. Project SparkL classes have been regularly taking place at our Shelter Home Snehghar for three consecutive years.
We have been witnessing a transformation in children's educational ability. Each child is given individual attention in class by the Skills Educators in class. They also maintain individual files for children and document their progress.
