Impact Stories

Voices of resilience

Behind every number in our timeline is a child overcoming unimaginable hardship. These are their stories of determination and progress.

10 Year Old Girl

Raised by a single mother working as a domestic worker. She was forced to enter a shelter home for her safety and well being.

Observed Progress

She struggled with distractions initially. But with the help of our program and her dedication, her attention sharpened, resulting in academic success.

11 Year Old Boy

Survived an alcoholic and violent father. Despite being in grade 6, his functional level was only at grade 1.

Observed Progress

He has confidently advanced from learning basic prepositions to attempting to read newspapers and composing full sentences in Kannada.

10 Year Old Girl

Fled an abusive home to seek shelter. Struggled deeply with language learning as Tamil is her mother tongue.

Observed Progress

She showed relentless persistence and a desire to learn from mistakes. She sought constant guidance, and by the end of the program, demonstrated a massive leap in comprehension.

9 Year Old Boy

Forced to beg on the streets with 6 siblings by an abusive father. His mother suffered severe health concerns.

Observed Progress

A tiny spark was enough to rekindle his curiosity. He progressed from rote-memorizing numbers to comprehending the logic of addition and subtraction, and constructing words confidently.

8 Year Old Girl

Struggled with lack of basic healthcare and education while living with an overwhelmed grandfather. She frequently felt overshadowed.

Observed Progress

She showed outstanding determination. Despite starting from absolute zero, her hard effort paid off as she logically outperformed even the older children in her cohort.
